Send the Bench a Question

Most guides on this site began as a claim a clinic website, an advert or a consultation made about an energy device, and that nobody could check on the spot.

If you have heard one, send it here: the device or treatment, the words used, and where you saw them. A link to the page helps, because the exact wording is usually the point.

The bench reads a claim against public documents. It cannot tell you whether a treatment suits your skin, and it does not book appointments, give medical advice or refer readers to practices. If a recent treatment concerns you, call the practice that performed it.

Please do not send medical records, photos of your skin or anything that identifies you beyond an email address. A question about a claim does not need them.

Every question is read. The ones other readers are likely to share usually become a new guide or a correction to an existing one. If you leave an email we may write back when there is something useful to say, but we cannot promise a reply or say when one would come.
